Chios mastic is a resin obtained from the mastic tree, an evergreen shrub grown exclusively in the south of Chios in Greece. It is a natural aromatic resin, known since ancient times for its beneficial properties. L-glutamine is the amino acid with the highest concentration in the human body and is involved in many metabolic processes. It is mainly produced in the muscles and distributed through the bloodstream to necessary organs, such as the intestines. Zinc contributes to the normal metabolism of macronutrients such as carbohydrates and fatty acids, as well as the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
